Known. Approved. Appointed.

Called

Jeremiah 1:5 (AMP)
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you…”

Did you know that before you were born, God knew you? That one statement destroys a thousand lies.

You are not an accident.
You are not a mistake.
You are not a failure.

Before you ever drew a breath, God knew you — and approved of you. We often live as though we must earn His approval. We strive. We perform. We try to prove our worth. But Jeremiah reminds us that God’s purpose for our lives existed before our performance ever did.

The word consecrated carries the idea of being set apart — dedicated to God. But consecration is not about sitting around looking holy. It is the heart of God in action. It is living in such a way that His character becomes visible through us.

Sin attempts to distort that image. It clouds the light we were created to carry. From the beginning, the enemy sought to mar what God designed to reflect His glory. But God did not abandon His design.

The Apostle Paul wrote:

“He saved us and called us with a holy calling… not because of our works, but because of His own purpose and grace…” (2 Timothy 1:9 AMP)

Notice that phrase — His purpose.

We are called not because we deserve it, but because He chose it. Jesus said: “Let your light shine before men…” (Matthew 5:16 AMP)

Light does not argue with darkness. It simply shines. When we walk in integrity, love, humility, and service, the fingerprint of God becomes visible again. Our deeds reflect His design. Our lives testify to His grace.

You do not have to chase approval.
You do not have to manufacture purpose.
You do not have to prove you belong.

You were known.
You were approved.
You were appointed.

Live like it.

Have a blessed day,
Pastor Ken
